Nagababu Takes Oath as MLC & Declares Assets

Nagababu Sworn in as MLC

Janasena leader Konidela Nagababu has officially taken the oath as an MLC (Member of Legislative Council) under the AP MLA quota. He was elected unopposed in the March 2025 elections as part of the Janasena-BJP alliance. The oath ceremony was conducted in the presence of Legislative Council Chairman Moshen Raju. Later, Nagababu met Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat.

Nagababu’s Asset Declaration

As per his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, Nagababu’s total assets are valued at ₹59 crore. His mutual funds and bonds alone amount to ₹55.37 crore, while he holds ₹21.81 lakh in cash and ₹23.53 lakh in bank deposits. His real estate assets, including properties in Hyderabad, Medak, and Ranga Reddy districts, are worth around ₹11.20 crore.

 

Loans from Chiranjeevi & Pawan Kalyan

Interestingly, Nagababu declared that he borrowed ₹28.48 lakh from his elder brother Chiranjeevi and ₹6.90 lakh from his younger brother Pawan Kalyan. Additionally, he has a home loan of ₹56.97 lakh and a car loan of ₹7.54 lakh.
