Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is set to depart for New Delhi today

Sources from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) indicated that Naidu is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to New Delhi.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to depart for New Delhi on Wednesday evening, marking his first official visit to the national capital since assuming office in Andhra Pradesh.
Sources from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) indicated that Naidu plans to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit. Additionally, he is slated to hold discussions with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and other officials. The focus of these meetings is expected to include proposals for state projects to be incorporated into the upcoming Union Budget, scheduled for August. Funding for ongoing projects in Andhra Pradesh, including those related to the state's bifurcation issues, is also on the agenda.
Naidu is particularly anticipated to address funding concerns for the Polavaram Irrigation Project and the development of Amaravati, the state's capital city. Ahead of his departure, he has been briefed on pending state projects from the past five years and has held discussions with railway officials regarding ongoing projects requiring additional funding.
Before his departure, the Chief Minister will unveil a white paper on Amaravati, highlighting key developments and future plans for the capital city.
