On November 14 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the police arrested an individual identified as Ranjith RM for posting on social media, urging people to harm Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and his brother, Congress MP DK Suresh. The arrest followed a complaint filed by Sharath, the Youth Congress President of Jayanagar Block in Bengaluru.

The accused had shared a post on social media under the title "kill DK brothers," commonly referring to Shivakumar and his brother Suresh. Additionally, the individual falsely claimed to be a cybercrime detective with the Bengaluru city police.

Furthermore, the accused posted objectionable and defamatory content targeting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the Congress party, and the Muslim community. The Jayanagar police are currently investigating the case.
