Power Minister Jagdish Reddy has directed the officials to immediately issue a notification for filling up 1601 jobs in South Telangana Power Distribution Company (TSSPDCL). Out of these, 1553 junior linemen and 48 assistant engineer posts will be filled through this notification, he said. To this extent, he issued orders to this effect in a review conducted at the Mint compound on Tuesday (January 31). On this occasion, Telangana Electricity Employees ICASA (TEEJAC) convener led by N Sivaji and many people together appealed to the Minister on PRC on January 31. Responding to this, the minister assured that PRC will be announced soon for Telangana electricity employees.
Change from EPF to GPF, reversion of 166 engineers in Transco and Genco were also brought to the attention of the minister. The Minister was briefed in detail about the options available to adjust the reversioners. He said that injustice will not be done to any of the electrical engineers, and action will be taken after examining the full details.

ఈపీఎఫ్‌ నుంచి జీపీఎఫ్‌కు మార్పు, ట్రాన్స్‌కో, జెన్‌కోలలో 166 మంది ఇంజినీర్ల రివర్షన్‌ అంశాలనూ మంత్రి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. రివర్షన్‌ అయిన వారిని సర్దుబాటు చేయడానికి ఉన్న అవకాశాలను మంత్రికి వివరంగా తెలియజేశారు. విద్యుత్తు ఇంజినీర్లలో ఏ ఒక్కరికీ అన్యాయం జరగనివ్వమని, పూర్తి వివరాలు పరిశీలించి చర్యలు చేపడతామని ఆయన అన్నారు.
