The new dates for UGC-NET 2024 have been announced after the exam was canceled the day following its conduct.

The UGC-NET exam has been rescheduled to take place between August 21 and September 4.

On Friday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced revised dates for the UGC-NET 2024 examination. According to a notification issued by the NTA, the exam will now be conducted from August 21 to September 4. The notification further stated that the UGC-NET June 2024 Cycle, previously conducted in pen and paper (offline) mode, will now be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

Additionally, the Computer Based Test for NCET 2024 is scheduled for July 10, 2024, while the Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam will take place from July 25 to July 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 will proceed as originally scheduled on July 6, 2024.

Regarding the UGC-NET paper leak case:
The UGC-NET-2024 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 18, aimed at selecting junior research fellows, assistant professors, and PhD scholars. The exam was conducted across 1,205 centers in 317 cities, with participation from over 11 lakh candidates.

However, the exam was cancelled the following day after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan revealed that the question paper had been leaked on the darknet.

Subsequently, the matter was referred to the CBI for investigation.
