The prominent e-commerce company Amazon is preparing to deliver a massive shock to its employees. A total of 14,000 employees are set to be laid off. With this latest decision, the company expects to save between ₹210 crore to ₹360 crore annually. Amazon has made this decision as part of its restructuring process.

All the layoffs will be at the manager level. As part of the company’s restructuring, Amazon recently laid off employees in its Communications and Sustainability departments. Now, another 14,000 employees are set to face the axe. In 2022 and 2023, Amazon had already sent 27,000 employees home.
