According to the film’s PR team, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram grossed Rs 68.53 crore worldwide in its opening weekend. These impressive numbers are notable, given the impact of heavy rains and flooding on theater attendance in the Telugu states. The film has already crossed the $1.5 million mark and has achieved breakeven in North America.
With no major Telugu releases this weekend and limited buzz around Vijay’s GOAT, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is expected to continue strong box office performance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
