As an actor, he's been an inspiration for many, a role model who achieved stardom without any significant background, rising from the ranks to become a mega-hero loved by millions.  Born on August 22, 1955, in Mogalthur, West Godavari district, his journey from a young enthusiast of acting to a seasoned star symbolizes dedication. His passion for acting led him to join the Madras Film Institute in Chennai in 1976 for formal training. 

It was in 1978 that he transformed into a hero with the film 'Punadhi Raallu,' but even before this movie, he had already invested his soul in the world of cinema with a lesser-known film. However, it was 'Manavoori Pandavulu,' directed by Bapu, that truly left a mark on Chiranjeevi's directorial journey.

It's not just as a hero, Chiranjeevi excelled even as a villain. In the movie 'I Love You' released in 1979, he portrayed characters with negative shades. In the same year, Chiranjeevi acted in a total of 8 films. Over the years, while continuing to make movies, he garnered the admiration of the audience. Amidst the era dominated by star heroes like NT Rama Rao, Krishna, ANR, Chiranjeevi carved his own niche with his films and won the hearts of fans.
