Meaning of Kīzhvānam:
The dawn arrives in the east, and the buffaloes, briefly set free, graze freely. All the girls who should have left by now are detained to come here and summon you. We stand before your house to awaken you. Please rise! Let us sing as he observes the vratham. He is the one who ripped open the mouth of the demon Kesi and triumphed over and killed Mushtika and Chanura. Let us pay homage and serve the God of gods.
