With vacancies across various postal circles in different states, India Post has released a notification for the recruitment of 30,041 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), Branch Postmasters (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmasters (ABPM), and Dak Sevak posts.

 In total, there are 1058 vacancies in Andhra Pradesh and 961 vacancies in Telangana. The selection for these positions will be based on the marks obtained in the tenth standard. There will be no night shift duty, and the selected candidates will work for only 4 hours a day.

 The salary for these posts ranges from Rs. 10 to Rs. 12 per hour. Additionally, India Postal Payment Bank provides incentives for this service. To fulfill the duties of this service, one should have facilities such as laptops, computers, or smartphones. Also, the candidates must reside within the operational area of the respective postal branch office and have access to a bicycle.

People who are interested can apply online. The deadline for applications has been decided as August 23, 2023. General candidates must pay a registration fee of Rs. 100 when applying. There is no fee for SC, ST, PwD, and transgender candidates.
