NMDC Recruitment 2024: The NMDC has released the official notification for the engagement of Junior Officer (Trainee). A total of 153 vacancies are available in various disciplines including Commercial, Environment, Geo & QC, Mining, Survey, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, IE, and Mechanical.

NMDC JOT Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility for the executive vacancies varies by discipline:
- Commercial: Degree in Engineering or Graduate from a recognized university with an MBA or PG Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Foreign Trade/Sales Management, or Graduate with CA/ICMA.
- Environment: Degree in Civil/Chemical/Mining/Environmental Engineering or PG Degree in Environmental Management/Engineering/Environmental Science/Geology/Chemistry/Botany, or PG Degree/Diploma in Environment Management (2 years duration), or Doctorate in Environment Studies/Impact Assessment from a recognized university/institute.
- Geo & QC: M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.)/M.Tech in Geology from a recognized university/institute.
- Survey: Three years Diploma in Mining or Diploma in Mines & Mine Surveying from a recognized university/institute, and Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency under MMR, with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Chemical: M.Sc. (Chemistry) or Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- Civil: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- Electrical: Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency, or Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university/institute, with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience.
- Industrial Engineering: Degree in Industrial Engineering or Degree in Mining/Mechanical/Production Engineering with PG Degree/Diploma in Industrial Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- Mechanical: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
NMDC JO Salary 2024
The salary for selected candidates varies based on experience. The starting salary is Rs. 37,000 for the first 12 months, followed by Rs. 38,000 for the next six months. Upon completion of training, the pay scale will range from Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 130,000.
