In Hyderabad, Eatala Rajender, Chairman of the BJP's Election Management Committee and the current MLA from Huzurabad, has been put under house arrest by the police. DK Aruna, a senior BJP leader and former minister, has also been confined to her residence. This action was taken after the BJP announced plans to inspect two-bedroom houses in Batasingaram, under the leadership of state president Kishan Reddy. To prevent this visit, the police placed multiple BJP leaders under house arrest across the twin cities.
