 The tomato crop in the gardens is being stolen. In this order, now the political leaders are also distributing free tomatoes to the people. In Vijayawada, AP, under the leadership of TDP leader Buddha Venkanna, distribution of tamo tala was organized to the people. It was given free to the poor and Rs 30 per kilo to others. Buddha Venkanna distributed the topu on a cart at Vijayawada Ratham Center.

Speaking on this occasion, Buddha Venkanna accused the AP government of failing to control the prices of essential commodities. He said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's word that he would allocate three thousand crores for price stabilization was wrong.

 He said that the price of tomato is 100 to 150 rupees per kg. Mokku criticized that tomato is being distributed on a huge subsidy and their hands are being stretched. Buddha Venkanna questioned why the CM, who talks a lot about the volunteer system, is not distributing two kilos of tomatoes to every house through them.

He accused the unscrupulous AP government of distributing tomatoes only to a few people as a mantra. Eddewa pointed out that there is a situation where women want tomato instead of gold. They demanded to give a kilo of tomato to every household until the price of tomato is brought under control.

 Buddha Venkanna has made it clear that till then, tomato will be provided to the people for 30 rupees per kilo in the western constituency. He said that tomatoes will be distributed to the poor people free of cost. He said that up to 500 kg of tomatoes will be distributed to the poor every day. On the other hand, Buddha Venkanna revealed that they will explain the government's style so that people can understand it.

ఈ సందర్భంగా బుద్దా వెంకన్న మాట్లాడుతూ.. నిత్యావసర వస్తువుల ధరలను అదుపు చేయడంలో ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైందని ఆరోపించారు. ధరల స్థిరీకరణకు మూడు వేల కోట్లు కేటాయిస్తామని చెప్పిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి మాట తప్పారని అన్నారు.

  టమాటా కిలో 100 నుంచి 150 రూపాయలు పలుకుతుందని తెలిపారు. భారీ సబ్సిడీపై టమాట పంపిణీ చేసి చేతులు దులుపుకుంటున్నారని మొక్కుకు విమర్శించారు. వాలంటీర్ వ్యవస్థ గురించి పెద్దఎత్తున మాట్లాడే సీఎం వారి ద్వారా ఇంటింటికీ రెండు కిలోల టమోటాలు ఎందుకు పంపిణీ చేయడం లేదని బుద్దా వెంకన్న ప్రశ్నించారు.

చిత్తశుద్ధిలేని ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం మంత్రంగా కొందరికే టమోటాలు పంపిణీ చేస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు. మహిళలు బంగారానికి బదులు టమాటా కావాలనే పరిస్థితి నెలకొందని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. టమాటా ధర అదుపులోకి వచ్చే వరకు ప్రతి ఇంటికి కిలో టమాటా ఇవ్వాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

  అప్పటి వరకు పశ్చిమ నియోజకవర్గంలో కిలో 30 రూపాయలకే టమాటా ప్రజలకు అందజేస్తామని బుద్దా వెంకన్న స్పష్టం చేశారు. పేదలకు ఉచితంగా టమోటాలు పంపిణీ చేస్తామన్నారు. ప్రతిరోజు పేదలకు 500 కిలోల వరకు టమోటాలు పంపిణీ చేస్తామన్నారు. మరోవైపు ప్రభుత్వ తీరును ప్రజలకు అర్థమయ్యేలా వివరిస్తామని బుద్దా వెంకన్న వెల్లడించారు.
