CM Chandrababu Naidu traveled to Delhi and held a crucial meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday evening. The discussion primarily focused on the fiscal conditions of Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu reportedly highlighted to Shah how funds allocated by the central government during the period of 2019-2024 were misused and diverted from their intended purposes by the previous administration. His current plan aims to rectify these issues by ensuring that investment plans align properly with the released funds from the center.
During the meeting, Naidu emphasized the importance of continuous support from Amit Shah and the central government for Andhra Pradesh. Specifically, he stressed that the center's funds would be appropriately directed towards projects such as Amaravati development, Vizag Steel Plant, and the construction of the Polavaram project.
The focus now shifts to Naidu's challenge of restoring Andhra Pradesh's finances, which have been severely impacted by the mismanagement of the past five years.
