Heatwave Advisory: మార్చి మొదలవడంతోనే సూర్యుడు మాడు పగులకొడుతున్నాడు. ఇప్పుడే ఇలా ఉంటే రానున్న రోజులు ఎలా ఉంటాయోననే భయం జనాల్లో కలుగుతోంది. ఈసారి వచ్చేది ఎండాకాలం కాదు మండే కాలమేనని నిపుణులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు. ఫిబ్రవరి నెల మధ్య నుంచే భానుడు ప్రతాపం కనిపిస్తోంది. సాధారణంగా ఫిబ్రవరిలో నమోదయ్యే ఉష్ణోగ్రతలకంటే ఈసారి కనీసం 5 డిగ్రీల అధిక టెంపరేచర్లు రికార్డయ్యాయి. ఫిబ్రవరి నెల నుంచి సూర్యప్రతాపం అధికంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. గడిచిన 30 ఏళ్ల కాలంలో ఫిబ్రవరి నెలలో గరిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రత 28 డిగ్రీలు, కనిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రత 15 డిగ్రీలుగా ఉన్నాయి. కాని ఈసారి మాత్రం ఉష్గోగ్రతల్లో 5 నుంచి 10 డిగ్రీల పెరుగుదల కనిపించింది. చాలా ప్రాంతాల్లో ఫిబ్రవరిలోనే 35 నుంచి 40 డిగ్రీల వరకు ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు కనిపించాయి. మార్చి, ఎప్రిల్‌, మే నెలల్లో ఎండలు మరింత తీవ్రంగా ఉండవచ్చని వాతావరణ నిపుణులు అంటున్నారు. 45 డిగ్రీల వరకు సాధారణ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు ఉంటాయని హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు. 50 డిగ్రీలు నమోదైనా ఆశ్చర్యపోనక్కర్లేదని అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. 

వాతావరణంలో సంభవించే ఎల్‌ నినో కారణంగా ఈ ఎండా కాలం చాలా తీవ్రంగా ఉంటుందని వాతావరణ నిపుణులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు. నీళ్ల కొరత, భూగర్భ జలాలు అడుగంటడం, వ్యవసాయానికి కష్టాలు తప్పవని అంటున్నారు. ఈ పరిస్థితి కరువుకు దారితీయకపోయినా, సాధారణ జీవనానికి, ఆర్థిక పరిస్థితులకు సమస్యగా మారవచ్చు. అధిక ఉష్ణోగ్రతల నేపథ్యంలో జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలంటూ అటు కేంద్రం, ఇటు రాష్ట్రాలు ప్రజలకు పలు సూచనలు చేస్తున్నాయి. జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవడంతోపాటు.. ఆహారంపై దృష్టిసారించాలని కోరుతున్నాయి. ఎండాకాలం నేపథ్యంలో తగినంత వైద్య, ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ సిబ్బందిని అందుబాటులో ఉండేలా చూడటంతోపాటు.. సౌకర్యాలు, అవసరమైన మందులు, పరికరాల లభ్యతను సమీక్షించాలని కేంద్రం రాష్ట్రాలను కోరింది.
