Hyderabad, November 1: Following a splendid evening cocktail party to kick off their pre-wedding celebrations, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have embarked on their wedding festivities, joined by prominent stars like Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Nithiin, and Chiranjeevi.
The journey began with a Haldi ceremony on October 31, following the pre-wedding cocktail soirée. Subsequently, a Mehendi ceremony was held in the presence of close friends and family.
As they stand on the cusp of exchanging vows, snapshots from these intimate celebrations have emerged, quickly going viral.
The couple appeared radiant in their yellow-themed Haldi ceremony, their affection evident in the photos captured.
For the Mehendi ceremony, Varun donned a Manish Malhotra-designed Beige embroidered Kurta paired with an ombre-fuchsia indo-western jacket.
Lavanya, on the other hand, wore a splendid lehenga, a customized version of her mother's old wedding saree, thoughtfully crafted by Archana Rao. She adorned herself with exquisite jewelry and sported footwear from Aprajita Toor.
Throughout the Mehendi ceremony, the presence of Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sneha Reddy, Chiranjeevi, and Nithiin added to the joyous atmosphere. Nithiin, in particular, joined the festivities following the Haldi ceremony but was an integral part of the Mehendi celebrations.
Following these rituals, the couple is set to host a lively pool party, offering their guests a chance to relax and revel in the festivities. The culmination of their journey will take place at 2.48 p.m. in Italy, where Varun and Lavanya will exchange their vows.
Earlier, during the late-night Haldi ceremony on Tuesday, the illustrious Chiranjeevi was captured in photos, blessing and posing with the couple. In another heartwarming shot, Varun and Lavanya shared an embrace.
The love story of this couple began in 2016 on the set of 'Mister,' where a profound friendship blossomed into a deep and enduring love.
Varun Tej is on the brink of releasing his Bollywood debut film, 'Operation Valentine,' scheduled to hit the screens on December 8.
