Tomato prices have skyrocketed across the country. In some regions, they have reached Rs. 300 per kilo. This is putting a strain on people's pockets. Many are resorting to using tomatoes sparingly in their kitchens, while others are closely monitoring the situation. There seems to be no relief in sight for the soaring tomato prices in the market. Over the past two months, tomato prices initially rose from Rs. 200 to Rs. 230 per kilo, and later, they were sold at Rs. 130 per kilo for a few days.

 However, the price has again increased, and tomatoes are now being sold at around Rs. 200 per kilo, leading to shock among the public. Wholesale prices in different districts range from Rs. 150 to Rs. 180, and retailers are selling tomatoes at up to Rs. 200. This has caused significant distress among consumers. In the wholesale markets, tomatoes are being sold for around Rs. 180, and in the retail business in Bainsa Nagar, the price has reached Rs. 200.
