Rishabh Pant Nominated for 'Comeback of the Year' at 2025 Laureus World Sports Awards
Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has been nominated for the 2025 Laureus World Sports Award in the 'Comeback of the Year' category. The award ceremony is set to take place on April 21, 2025.
Pant, 27, faced a serious car accident in December 2022, which kept him away from cricket for a long time. However, after intense rehabilitation, he made a successful comeback to cricket in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL).
His return to cricket was impressive. Pant scored a century against Bangladesh in his first international match after the accident. He is also set to play for Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming IPL season.
