NEET UG 2024 Retest Result: Today, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 re-test conducted for 1,563 candidates. Participants can view their scorecards on the official website. The final answer key for the NEET UG retest was published last Saturday.
The NTA organized the retest for 1,563 candidates initially awarded grace marks due to reported loss of exam time. Among them, 813 candidates participated in the retest, which was held in the same six cities but at different centers.
Following the re-test on June 23, 2024, the NTA released provisional answer keys, scanned copies of OMR answer sheets, and compiled responses from the 813 candidates on June 28.
The exam board confirmed that all challenges received were thoroughly reviewed by experts, leading to the finalization of results.
"The revised scorecards for all NEET(UG) 2024 candidates who took the re-test on June 23, 2024, are now available on the website," announced the NTA. "Candidates can log in to access and download their updated scorecards."
The NEET-UG exam, administered by the NTA on May 5, sparked controversy with 67 students achieving a perfect score of 720, including six from the same center. There was also significant public concern regarding the allocation of 'grace marks' to 1,563 students.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently investigating multiple instances of paper leaks related to the medical entrance exam and has made several arrests in connection with the case.
