Justice for All Telangana High Court Chief Justices Vision

HYDERABAD: On India's 78th Independence Day, Chief Justice Alok Aradhe of the Telangana High Court raised the National Flag during a ceremony at the High Court premises. In his address, Justice Aradhe underscored the court’s commitment to improving access to justice, showcasing several innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the judicial process.
Justice Aradhe highlighted the transition to a paperless operation for two division benches, a significant step in the court’s digitization efforts. He also announced that Hanumakonda and Nalgonda have been selected as model districts for the first phase of digitizing district judiciary records. Additionally, the Chief Justice introduced the High Court’s new official website and the electronic Telangana High Court Reports (e-THCR), which will provide online access to state high court judgments.
A forthcoming app will facilitate the service of summons and execution of warrants in criminal cases. From August 15, free wireless internet will be available on the High Court premises for advocates and litigants. A new RTI portal has also been launched to promote transparency.
Justice Aradhe commended the Lok Adalats held between August 2023 and July 2024, which resolved 73,786 cases and disbursed Rs 4.94 crore under the Victim Compensation Scheme.
Govt Working for All Sections, Says Uttam
Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, speaking at the 78th Independence Day celebrations in Suryapet, praised the Congress government’s efforts over the past eight months to benefit all sections of society. He emphasized that the administration focuses on delivering results, not just promises. 
Uttam contrasted the Congress government’s policies with those of the BJP-led NDA at the Centre, citing the Congress government's support for the poor through subsidized cooking gas prices, compared to significant increases under the NDA government. He highlighted that nearly 1,48,000 people in Suryapet district alone have benefited from this support.
Venkat Reddy Calls for Cooperation in Nalgonda
R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, at the Independence Day event in Nalgonda, stressed the need for collective effort for the district’s development. He noted that the government implemented its six key promises within 48 hours of taking office and announced plans to construct 21,000 Indiramma houses across the district.
Aarogyasri Scheme Benefits in Karimnagar
IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, speaking in Karimnagar, reported that 12,969 underprivileged individuals benefited from the Aarogyasri scheme following its coverage increase from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. He also noted that the Mother and Child Care Centre performed 687 normal deliveries from April to July 31.
Infrastructure Developments Announced
Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha revealed plans to lay the foundation for a 500-bed hospital in Sangareddy district, with an investment of Rs 250 crore. In Siddipet, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced Rs 431 crore allocated to complete pending work on the Gauravelli reservoir, which will provide irrigation to 1.06 lakh acres.

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts, with notable participation from Mineral Development Corporation Chairman E. Anil and Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy.
