Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2024: Apply Online for Medical Assistant (02/2024 Batch) – Check Eligibility
The Indian Navy has announced online applications for unmarried male candidates seeking enrollment as sailors in the Medical Branch for the SSR (Medical Assistant) November 2024 batch. The detailed notification is available in the Employment News for September 07-13, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by September 17, 2024.
Selection Process:
The recruitment will consist of two stages:
1. Stage I: Shortlisting based on marks obtained in 10+2 PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
2. Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination at designated Indian Navy centers.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a board recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with at least 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 40% in each subject.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Pay & Allowances:
- During the initial training, a stipend of ₹14,600 per month will be provided.
- Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹21,700 - ₹69,100), plus a Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹5,200 per month and Dearness Allowance (DA) as applicable.
