The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is set to simplify its services further with the introduction of its digital platform version 3.0. This upgrade is expected to offer facilities such as auto claim settlements, digital corrections, and cash withdrawals through ATMs.
Union Minister for Labour Mansukh Mandaviya elaborated on the new version of EPFO in an interview with leading news agency PTI. Mansukh Mandaviya revealed that key digital transformations are being implemented in EPFO. He stated that version 3.0 would benefit around 90 million subscribers.
Mansukh Mandaviya said the new version is expected to be launched by the end of May or June. He explained that the primary objective behind these changes is to make EPFO more user-friendly and efficient. Once this new version is rolled out, subscribers will no longer face difficulties such as filling out forms or making repeated visits to EPFO offices for claims or corrections, the Union Minister said.
