The central government has decided to conduct mock drill on April 10 and 11 in the background of increasing cases. Meanwhile, 1590 new corona cases have been registered in the country and six people have died due to the virus. It seems that the Center has taken a key decision in the wake of increasing Corona cases after many days. This is the first time after 146 days that most cases have been reported in a single day. The health ministry said that the cases in the country have increased nine times in the last five weeks. It advised the states to focus on the four 'T' (Test, Track, Treat-Vaccination) keeping in view the risk. The Omicron sub-variant XBB.1.16 is thought to be the sub-variant responsible for the increasing number of cases in the country.
Delhi reported 152 new cases of coronavirus on Friday with a positive rate of 6.66 percent. Earlier in October, 100 cases were reported in a single day in Delhi. Similarly, 343 Covid cases were reported in Maharashtra on Friday and three people died. Currently, the number of active cases in Maharashtra has reached 1,763.

కేసులు ఉన్నపలంగా పెరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఏప్రిల్‌ 10, 11వ తేదీల్లో మాక్‌ డ్రిల్‌ నిర్వహించాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఇదిలా ఉంటే తాజాగా దేశంలో కొత్తగా 1590 కరోనా కేసులు నమోదుకాగా, వైరస్‌ కారణంగా ఆరుగురు మృతి చెందారు. చాలా రోజుల తర్వాత కరోనా కేసులు పెరిగిన నేపథ్యంలో కేంద్రం కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. 146 రోజుల తర్వాత ఒకే రోజు అత్యధిక కేసులు నమోదవడం ఇదే తొలిసారి. గత ఐదువారాల్లో దేశంలో కేసులు తొమ్మిది రెట్లు పెరిగాయన ఆరోగ్యమంత్రిత్వ శాఖ పేర్కొంది. ప్రమాదాన్ని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని ఫోర్‌ ‘టీ’ (టెస్ట్‌, ట్రాక్‌, ట్రీట్‌-టీకా)పై దృష్టి పెట్టాలని రాష్ట్రాలకు సూచించింది. దేశంలో పెరుగుతున్న కేసులకు ఒమిక్రాన్‌ సబ్‌ వేరియంట్‌ XBB.1.16 సబ్‌వేరియంట్‌గా భావిస్తున్నారు.
ఢిల్లీలో శుక్రవారం 152 కొత్త కరోనావైరస్ కేసులు 6.66 శాతం పాజిటివ్ రేటుతో నమోదయ్యాయి. అంతకుముందు అక్టోబర్‌లో ఢిల్లీలో ఒకే రోజులో 100 కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి. అలాగే మహారాష్ట్రలోనూ శుక్రవారం 343 కొవిడ్‌ కేసులు నమోదవగా.. ముగ్గురు మృతి చెందారు. ప్రస్తుతం మహారాష్ట్రలో యాక్టివ్‌ కేసుల సంఖ్య 1,763కి చేరింది.
