CM Chandrababu Naidu Encourages Women Entrepreneurs and Promises Government Support

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need for women to advance as industrial entrepreneurs, assuring that the NDA government is committed to supporting their growth. Speaking at the international conference "New Generation - Tech-Aid for Sustainable Enterprises," organized by the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP) and the Ministry of MSME (Andhra Pradesh) in Vijayawada, he highlighted the government’s encouragement for women entrepreneurs.

At the event, Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for a Green Industrial Park being developed by ALEAP in Koduru, Anakapalli district. He praised women for excelling in various sectors, even surpassing men in earnings. He stressed that economic progress is impossible without women's active participation, acknowledging that India has seen a significant rise in female workforce participation.

Support Through Innovation Hubs

The Chief Minister announced structured support for women entrepreneurs through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering women in business and assured that tangible results would be visible in the coming days. He encouraged women to utilize available resources efficiently to achieve remarkable success.

Women Should Excel in Artificial Intelligence

Chandrababu Naidu urged women to focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), stating that the future belongs to AI-driven innovation. He gave an example of how smart devices could be programmed to make life easier, demonstrating the transformative power of technology.

He also spoke about his "Swarnandhra Vision 2047," which aims to establish Andhra Pradesh as a $2.4 trillion economy with a 15% annual growth rate.

Need for Digital Literacy & Work-from-Home Policies

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of digital literacy in today’s fast-changing world. He humorously remarked that "people can live without a spouse, but not without a mobile phone," emphasizing the impact of technology on daily life. To support women in balancing work and family life, he announced plans to introduce a work-from-home policy in the state.

He called upon women entrepreneurs to actively participate in government programs and contribute to Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth. "Let us work together with planning and innovation to make Andhra Pradesh a hub for entrepreneurs," he urged.

ALEAP President Calls Chandrababu Naidu a ‘Godfather’ to Women Entrepreneurs

ALEAP President Rama Devi praised Chandrababu Naidu, referring to him as a "Godfather" to women entrepreneurs. She recalled that he was instrumental in establishing Andhra Pradesh’s first industrial park in Gajularamaram, which became a global model. She asserted that, with the right support, women entrepreneurs can compete equally with men and achieve remarkable success.
