Chiranjeevi to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at UK Parliament
Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi is set to be honored at the UK Parliament on March 19, 2025, with a Lifetime Achievement Award. This prestigious award recognizes Chiranjeevi's immense contributions to cinema and his service to society over the past four and a half decades.
UK Labour Party MP Navendu Mishra will present the award in the presence of other Members of Parliament, including Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman. The award is being given by Bridge India, an organization that works on public policy and honors individuals who have made a significant impact on society.
Why Is This Award Special?
This event is particularly special as it marks the first time Bridge India is presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award. Chiranjeevi’s career achievements, both in cinema and public service, have been remarkable, and this award adds another feather to his cap.
In 2024, Chiranjeevi was also awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award, and recognized with a Guinness World Record for his remarkable skills as an actor and dancer.
More Honors for Chiranjeevi
On top of the UK Parliament award, Chiranjeevi will also receive the prestigious ANR National Award in 2024 from the Akkineni International Foundation, marking the centenary of Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Chiranjeevi's recognition on international platforms continues to shine a light on his contributions to cinema, philanthropy, and social causes.
