With Infosys.. office opening in port city.. IT employees are excited for once.. Infosys in Visakhapatnam in next two monthsIndustries and Commerce Minister Gudivada Amarnath revealed that the activities will be started. Infosys will open the office with a capacity of 1,000 employees, he said. He said that most of the employees working in IT companies are from Andhra Pradesh.

 ఐటీ కంపెనీల్లో పనిచేసే ఉద్యోగుల్లో అత్యధికులు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వాసులుగా గుర్తించారన్నారు. దేశంలోని ప్రతి వందమంది ఐటీ ఉద్యోగుల్లో 15 మంది తెలుగువారు ఉన్నారని. వీరిలో ఐదుగురు తెలంగాణ, పది మంది ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వాసులున్నారని తెలిపారు. ఇప్పటికే పారివ్రామికంగా ప్రగతి సాధిస్తున్న విశాఖపట్టణం ఐటీలోనూ అగ్రగామి కానుందన్నారు. గడిచిన మూడున్నరేళ్లలో రాష్ట్రం రూ. 1.9 లక్షల కోట్లు విలువైన పెట్టుబడులకు అనుమతి మంజూరు చేసిందని చెప్పారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో పరిశ్రమలు, వాణిజ్యశాఖ డైరెక్టర్ సృజన గుమ్మళ్ల, ఏపీ అర్థిక అభివృద్ధి మండలి సీఈఓ ఎల్.శ్రీధర్ రెడ్డి తదితురులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
