Transitioning into a career as an Airhostess and later embracing family life after marriage, Archana didn't let her adventurous spirit fade away. She embarked on solo trips, engaged in volunteering for NGOs, and initiated drives for the needy, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact.
The turning point came when Archana, prompted by a friend, began teaching women how to ride bikes and mopeds for solo trips. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, where she dedicated herself to empowering women through mobility. Having trained an impressive 25,000+ students without any accidents, Archana's uniqueness lies not only in her skills but in the empowerment she instills.
Her reputation grew, and she became a role model for many, receiving numerous awards, rewards, and appreciations. Her name became synonymous with trust and empowerment, attracting a substantial fan following.
In August 2019, a group of IITians recognized Archana's impact and collaborated with her to establish Stree Rides. This company aims to enhance women's mobility by providing safe and reliable transportation options. Archana's vision is clear: to build a community where women can travel independently, find fellow women drivers for carpooling, utilize last-mile connectivity effectively, rely on women taxi drivers, and welcome women delivery agents into homes without fear.
With the launch of Stree Rides, Archana and her team officially started providing jobs to women. Beyond her role as a biker and trainer, Archana wears many hats—she is a foodie, food blogger, brand promoter, social influencer, fitness enthusiast, and a counselor for women.
Archana's journey is not just about driving; it's about breaking stereotypes, empowering women, and creating a community where independence thrives. Her mission is to encourage women to pursue jobs that defy societal norms and prove that nothing is more reliable than a woman driving on her own.
