AP Home Minister Anitha Criticizes Jagan for Skipping Assembly Session Demands Submission of Victim Details

VIJAYAWADA: State Ministers have strongly criticized YSRC President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for his protest in Delhi, alleging lawlessness in Andhra Pradesh.
During a discussion in the AP Legislative Assembly on Thursday, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha questioned Jagan’s absence from the Assembly session where the government presented a white paper on law and order issues. She demanded that Jagan provide details about the 36 individuals he claimed had been killed due to political vendetta.
Anitha accused Jagan of staging a photo exhibition in Delhi to damage the state’s reputation and hinder investment. She noted that only a few isolated incidents had occurred from June 12 to July 23, during which 42 criminal cases were filed against TDP supporters. Conversely, 37 criminal cases were registered against TDP followers for attacks on YSRC members. She invited Jagan to the Assembly to provide the requested details, promising an inquiry would follow.
Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav suggested that Jagan’s trip to Delhi was intended to align with the INDI Alliance, questioning the real motives behind his actions.
