Andhra Pradesh The government has appointed new Collectors to all 13 districts

VIJAYAWADA: The State government initiated a significant administrative reshuffle on Tuesday by appointing new Collectors to 13 districts. MN Harendhira Prasad, who previously served as Additional Chief Electoral Officer and Ex-officio Joint Secretary to Government in General Administration (Elections), has been transferred to take charge as Visakhapatnam District Collector.
The 2015 batch IAS officer has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities as Additional CEO to P Koteswara Rao, who will now serve as the Additional Chief Electoral Officer and Ex-officio Additional Secretary to Government in General Administration (Elections), overseeing all related functions.
In a prior bureaucratic reorganization, Visakhapatnam Collector A Mallikharjuna was transferred, and K Mayur Ashok, the Joint Collector, was appointed as the interim Collector. Meanwhile, Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar, who previously held the position of VMC Commissioner, has been appointed as the Collector of Srikakulam district.
