The coalition government has decided to appoint brand ambassadors for Amaravati, the state capital. These ambassadors will be selected through a structured plan, approved by the government, based on criteria like sustainability, development, innovation, and social reputation. Preference will be given to individuals with a strong connection to the capital region.
The selection process will follow a nomination-based approach, with candidates recommended by the Chief Minister or the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Their qualifications, professional experience, and expertise will also play a role in the final selection. Each ambassador will serve for a period of one year.
The main goal of appointing these ambassadors is to promote Amaravati as an international city and attract investments to boost its growth and global recognition.
