Director of Telangana School Education Department Devasena. Director of Examination Department Krishna Rao discussed various issues with the district officials in a video conference. From this year, the 10th class exams are to be conducted with 6 papers only.. In General Science there will be 2 papers with 40 marks. One of them is physical science, second is biological science. To complete the exam, the officials of the education department were advised to give a general science paper with a duration of 90 minutes.
After a gap of 20 minutes the students will be given the second paper. The duration to complete this test is also 90 minutes. Under multiple choice questions.. 10 questions will be given. 15 minutes allotted for answer. Students have to answer ten questions in those fifteen minutes.
'Model Papers' Coming Soon
It is known that this year the 10th class exams are conducted in only six papers. Meanwhile, the education department officials will soon make the model question papers available to the students. This time the exams will be conducted with 6 papers… which will carry 80 marks for written tests and 20 marks for formative assessment. All the exams are of 3 hours time.. 3.20 hours time will be given for one General Science exam. The complete details have been revealed in the statement released by the Education Department.

తెలంగాణ పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ డైరెక్టర్ దేవసేన.. పరీక్షల విభాగం డైరెక్టర్ కృష్ణారావు జిల్లా అధికారులతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్‌లో పలు విషయాలను చర్చించారు. ఈ ఏడాది నుంచి 10 వ తరగతి పరీక్షలు 6 పేపర్లతోనే నిర్వహించాల్సి ఉండగా.. జనరల్ సైన్స్‌లో 40 మార్కులతో 2 పేపర్లు ఉంటాయి. అందులో ఒకటి ఫిజికల్ సైన్స్.. రెండవది బయోలాజికల్ సైన్స్. పరీక్ష పూర్తి చేసేందుకు 90 నిమిషాల వ్యవధితో జనరల్ సైన్స్ పేపర్ ఇవ్వాలని విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
20 నిమిషాల గ్యాప్ తర్వాత విద్యార్థులకు రెండో పేపర్ ఇవ్వనున్నారు. ఈ పరీక్షను పూర్తి చేయడానికి వ్యవధి కూడా 90 నిమిషాలు ఉంటుంది. మల్టిపుల్ చాయిస్ ప్రశ్నల క్రింద.. 10 ప్రశ్నలు ఇవ్వబడతాయి. సమాధానానికి 15 నిమిషాల సమయం కేటాయించారు. ఆ పదిహేను నిమిషాల్లో విద్యార్థులు పది ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానాలు రాయాలి.
త్వరలో ‘మోడల్ పేపర్లు’
ఈ ఏడాది 10వ తరగతి పరీక్షలు కేవలం ఆరు పేపర్లలోనే నిర్వహిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. కాగా, విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులు త్వరలో మోడల్ ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను విద్యార్థులకు అందుబాటులో ఉంచనున్నారు. ఈసారి పరీక్షలు 6 పేపర్లతో నిర్వహించబడతాయి… ఇందులో రాత పరీక్షలకు 80 మార్కులు.. ఫార్మేటివ్ అసెస్‌మెంట్‌కు 20 మార్కులు ఉంటాయి. అన్ని పరీక్షలు 3 గంటల సమయం.. ఒక్క జనరల్ సైన్స్ పరీక్షకు 3.20 గంటల సమయం ఇవ్వనున్నారు. విద్యాశాఖ విడుదల చేసిన ప్రకటనలో పూర్తి వివరాలను వెల్లడించింది.
