It is a known fact that the Central Government has introduced a scheme called Agneepath which is a new approach in Indian Army recruitment. However, there were protests across the country over the scheme. Some protested that they would be wronged by the new policy. Protesters at several railway stations across the country caused property damage worth crores of rupees.

However, the Center says that the national security and the future of the youth will be ensured that no one will be harmed by the Agneepath scheme. Against this background some changes and additions were made in the scheme to reduce the protests. Meanwhile, the Center has not backed down on the issue of Agneepath despite all the opposition. The Army is issuing notifications to replace recruits. As part of this, the Indian Air Force issued a notification on June 24 to recruit Agniveers.

The application process started on June 24 and will end on July 5. Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force notification is getting a large response from the youth. In just three days of notification, 56,960 people applied. With 8 days to go, the number of applications is likely to increase further. Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through the website https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in/, the Indian Air Force Agniveer selection test will begin on July 24, officials said.

ఇండియన ఆర్మీ నియామకాల్లో సరికొత్త విధానాన్ని తీసుకొస్తూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ‘అగ్నిపథ్ అనే పథకాన్ని తీసుకొచ్చిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. అయితే ఈ పథకంపై దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా నిరసనలు వ్యక్తమయ్యాయి. ఈ కొత్త విధానం ద్వారా తమకు అన్యాయం జరుగుతుందని కొందరు నిరసనలకు దిగారు. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా పలు రైల్వే స్టేషన్లో  ఆందోళనకారుల నిరసనల్లో కోట్లాది రూపాయల ఆస్తి నష్టం జరిగింది.

అయితే అగ్నిపథ్ పథకం వల్ల ఎవరికీ ఎలాంటి నష్టం జరగదని దేశ భద్రత, యువకుల భవిష్యత్తుకు భరోసా ఇస్తుందని కేంద్ర చెబుతోంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో నిరసనలను తగ్గించేందుకు పథకంలో కొన్ని మార్పులు, చేర్పులు చేశారు. ఇదిలా ఉంటే ఎన్ని వ్యతిరేకతలు ఎదురైనా అగ్నిపథ్ విషయంలో కేంద్ర వెనకడగుడు వేయలేదు. ఆర్మీ నియామకాలను భర్తీ చేయడానికి నోటిఫికేషన్ల ను విడుదల చేస్తోంది. ఇందులో భాగంగానే జూన్ 24న ఇండియన్ ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్  అగ్నివీర్లను తీసుకోవడానికి నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేశారు.

జూన్ 24న ప్రారంభమైన ఈ దరఖాస్తుల ప్రక్రియ జూలై 5తో ముగియనుంది. ఇదిలా ఉంటే ఇండియన్ ఎయిర్ఫోర్స్ నోటిఫికేషన్కు యువత నుంచి పెద్ద ఎత్తున స్పందన వస్తోంది. నోటిఫికేషన్ మొదలైన కేవలం మూడు రోజుల్లోనే ఏకంగా 56,960 మంది అప్లై చేసుకోవడం విశేషం. గడువుకు ఇంకా 8 రోజులు ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో దరఖాస్తుల సంఖ్య ఇంకా పెరిగే అవకాశాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఆసక్తి మరియు అర్హత గల అభ్యర్థులు ఆన్లైన్లో https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in/ వెబ్సైట్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలని, ఇండియన్ ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్ అగ్నివీర్ ఎంపిక పరీక్ష జూలై 24 న ప్రారంభమవుతుందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
