The Center is preparing to conduct a mock drill on the new variant of Corona on April 10 and 11 across the country. Center and ICMR have jointly issued an advisory asking all public and private health centers in the district to participate in this mock drill on details like testing, tracking, treatment, availability of drugs, ICU facilities, beds, medical equipment, medical oxygen. However, the number of cases is increasing in Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states. The recent death of six people due to Corona is causing a stir.
The Center has asked the states not to neglect the Corona issue and to act proactively. The Center said that although the number of people admitted to hospitals and deaths due to this disease are low, it is necessary to take all measures including wearing masks to reduce the severity.

కరోనా విషయంలో నిర్లక్ష్యం వద్దని, క్రియాశీలకంగా రాష్ట్రాలు వ్యవహరించాలని కేంద్రం కోరింది. ఈ వ్యాధి కారణంగా ఆస్పత్రుల్లో చేరుతున్న వారి సంఖ్య, మరణాల సంఖ్య తక్కువే ఉన్నప్పటికీ తీవ్రతను తగ్గించేందుకు మాస్కులు ధరించడంతో పాటు అన్ని చర్యలు చేపట్టాల్సిన అవసరముందని కేంద్రం పేర్కొంది.
