Chandrababu Naidu Launches ‘Zero Poverty-P4’, Calls It a Game Changer

Amaravati, March 30: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu officially launched the ‘Zero Poverty-P4’ initiative, stating that this program will be a game changer in society.

The program was inaugurated in Amaravati on the occasion of Telugu New Year, Ugadi, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The Chief Minister emphasized that P4 is a historic initiative aimed at eradicating poverty and bringing about social transformation.

Speaking at a public gathering, Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that any program launched on Ugadi would certainly become a success. He clarified that P4 is purely intended to uplift the underprivileged and bridge economic disparities.

The P4 platform allows wealthy individuals to voluntarily support the underprivileged, bringing donors and beneficiaries onto a common platform. In the first phase, 20 lakh families will benefit from this initiative.

Highlighting the state’s economic growth, Naidu shared that the per capita income for the last fiscal year stood at Rs 2,66,995, which has now increased to Rs 2,98,065. He expressed confidence that by 2028-29, it would reach Rs 5,42,985 and by 2047, it would be Rs 55 lakh.

50 Years in Public Life

Reflecting on his political journey, Naidu stated that in another three years, he would complete 50 years in public service. He recalled his entry into politics in 1978 and expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the people. He has served as an MLA nine times, four of which were as Chief Minister, and has been the Leader of the Opposition for 15 years.

He also paid tribute to TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao, recalling his discipline and perseverance. Naidu emphasized that he has always focused on governance, public welfare, and the state's progress.

A Commitment to Good Governance

The Chief Minister reiterated that his administration is based on clean politics and development. He highlighted his contributions, including Prajala Vaddaku Palana, Janma Bhoomi, and the IT revolution in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu further stated that he never misused power for personal gains and ensured that his family was financially independent. "My family does not rely on politics for their livelihood. My wife stays away from politics, and I do not engage in business," he asserted.

He concluded by assuring the people that P4 will bring a revolutionary change in society, empowering the needy and fostering economic growth in Andhra Pradesh.
