Mumbai, March 30: Megastar Chiranjeevi has officially launched his next film, tentatively titled ‘Mega157’, on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi.

The pooja ceremony was attended by top film personalities, including Venkatesh Daggubati, Allu Aravind, and legendary director K Raghavendra Rao. During the event, Venkatesh Daggubati gave the first clap, Allu Aravind switched on the camera, and K Raghavendra Rao directed the muhurat shot.

Chiranjeevi’s Excitement

Sharing moments from the event, Chiranjeevi took to Instagram, expressing his joy:
"On this joyous occasion of Ugadi, I’m happy to begin my journey with the amazing director @anilravipudi, producers @sahu_garapati, @sushmitakonidela, and the entire team of #Mega157. A big thanks to my dear @venkateshdaggubati and all my friends from the industry for gracing the event!"

Movie Details

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners Shine Screens and Goldbox Entertainments. Bheems Ceciroleo will compose the music for the film.

While the plot and full cast details are yet to be revealed, reports suggest that actresses Aditi Rao Hydari or Parineeti Chopra are in talks for the female lead. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

Sivaji’s Special Moment with Chiranjeevi

On another note, actor Sivaji, who recently returned to the big screen with the courtroom drama ‘Court – State Vs A Nobody’, shared his excitement about receiving appreciation from Chiranjeevi.

Taking to Twitter (X), Sivaji posted pictures with Chiranjeevi and shared an emotional message:
