Tamannaah on ‘Odela 2’: It Has a Supernatural Backdrop and Slight Spiritual Tone

Tamannaah Bhatia has shared exciting details about her upcoming movie "Odela 2". The actress revealed that the film has a supernatural backdrop with a slight spiritual tone. She also mentioned that the movie addresses issues faced by society today.

Speaking about "Odela 2", Tamannaah, during her appearance at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, explained to IANS, "It’s a fantasy movie and offers a fantastical theatrical experience. At the same time, it has a supernatural backdrop and a slight spiritual tone. All these elements make it a very fantastical film."

Tamannaah said she enjoys such films because they are larger-than-life. “Growing up, I loved films that took you to a different world, films that were larger than life. I found out that this film actually went to Kashi for the first time," she shared.

She also spoke about how "Odela 2" reflects the problems that we face as a society today. "It’s relevant to us today as it deals with the issues and challenges we face in society. The film leaves you on a very empowering and high note," Tamannaah added.

For Tamannaah, the purpose of movies is to inspire and empower. "Movies should make you hopeful. That’s why I became an actor – because films gave me hope. I hope this film does the same for the audience," she concluded.

Odela 2 is a supernatural thriller directed by Ashok Teja. The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Hebah Patel, and Vasishta N. Simha in lead roles, alongside other actors like Yuva, Naga Mahesh, and Pooja Reddy.
