YSRCP Stages Walkout from Assembly

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly's budget session began with significant disruptions as members of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) staged a protest. During the Governor's address to the joint session of both houses, YSRCP legislators interrupted by approaching the Speaker’s podium to disrupt his speech.

The protesting members raised slogans, demanding the protection of democracy and official recognition of YSRCP as the principal opposition party. Despite the protests, the Governor continued with his address. After nearly 11 minutes of chanting and disruptions, YSRCP members, including party leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, walked out of the Assembly. All YSRCP MLAs and MLCs left, leaving only the ruling coalition members present in the session.
