Tickets for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in Visakhapatnam sold out in just a few minutes, leaving many fans disappointed. Visakhapatnam will host two IPL matches this month: Delhi Capitals vs. Lucknow Super Giants on March 24 and Delhi Capitals vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 30.
Ticket sales for the Delhi Capitals vs. Lucknow Super Giants match started at 4 PM yesterday through the District (Zomato) app. Thousands of fans were waiting online, and ₹1,000 tickets were sold out within minutes after the sale began.
The ticket sale date for the Delhi Capitals vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad match has not been announced yet. A similar rush for tickets was seen last year, when Delhi Capitals played Chennai Super Kings in Visakhapatnam.
Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner Shankha Brata Bagchi has warned the public about counterfeit ticket sales. He urged fans to report any fake tickets to the police or contact his personal WhatsApp number at 79950 95799 for complaints.
