The success celebration of "Leo," held at Nehru Stadium in Chennai, featured the film's cast and crew. The eagerly anticipated speech by Vijay electrified the audience.
Vijay commenced his speech by saying, "In the hearts of my beloved friends and well-wishers, I reside. I thought you were all residing in my heart, but I've come to realize that I also reside in your hearts. These are the sacred places I inhabit. I'm uncertain about what I can do to reciprocate this love that expects nothing in return. Lately, I've observed a surge of anger on social media. Why? We have plenty of meaningful work to accomplish. How would a child feel at home if scolded by their father? Just forgive it all, like that. As Gandhi once said, 'Non-violence is mightier than violence.'"
Vijay then shared a brief anecdote, saying, "Two individuals ventured into the forest for hunting. One had a bow and arrows, while the other carried a spear. The person with the bow and arrows successfully hunted a rabbit. In contrast, the individual with the spear aimed at an elephant but missed. When they returned to the village, one had the rabbit, and the other had the spear. If you asked me who the true achiever was among the two, I would say it's the one who returned empty-handed. Because it's easy to hunt easy targets. Achieving something simple is not true success, my friend! At least we're striving to conquer a challenging game, right? Always aim for big things. As Bharathi said, 'Ask for the greatest of the greatest.' That's how your dreams, thoughts, and efforts should be. Everyone has their place here, my friend. No one can take it away from you."
The actor continued, "A young boy at home may wear his father's shirt, put on his watch, and sit in his father's chair. The shirt may be oversized, the watch may not fit, and he may be unsure if he can sit in the chair. It's all part of his dreams. Dream big, my friend. No one can obstruct your dreams. Always set high goals, as (Abdul) Kalam sir once said."
These "kutti stories," which are short tales of wisdom, have become a regular feature of Vijay's speeches.
