GUNTUR: The first-year BTech classes commenced at Vignan University on Monday, welcoming students and parents from across the State.
Addressing the gathering as chief guest, Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, chairman of Vignan Educational Institutions, emphasized the importance of approaching education and development with joy and enthusiasm.
Dr. Rathaiah expressed his gratitude to parents for choosing Vignan University and congratulated the students on embarking on this new journey. He highlighted the success of the university's Pancha Sutras program, which includes Faculty Development, Planning, Training, Communication System, Counselling System, CRT Classes, and Teaching Methods. He noted that this program has contributed to the success of many alumni in their careers.
Dr. Rathaiah encouraged parents to provide holistic support to their children, emphasizing the university's commitment to physical fitness by awarding credits for it.
The event was attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. P Nagabhushan, registrar Dr. Raghunathan, Deans, Heads of Departments, parents, teaching staff, and students.
