After months of anticipation, Prabhas’ new film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of *Sita Ramam* fame, had its grand launch today. The event was attended by Prabhas, Hanu Raghavapudi, producers Naveen and Ravi of Mythri Movie Makers, leading lady Imanvi, and several other notable figures, all participating in the pooja ceremony.
Following the launch, the film’s team unveiled a striking concept poster that has further heightened expectations. The poster depicts a dramatic battle between British and Indian forces, with the British flag being set ablaze. The caption reads: “When wars were a battle for supremacy, one warrior redefined what they were fought for.”
Set in pre-independent India during the 1940s, this untitled film delves into the heroic journey of a warrior who rises from obscurity. It explores themes of justice and hidden truths in a society where war was seen as the only solution to deep-seated injustices. According to the makers, “Not every historical event resonates with our emotions and thoughts, but this story is written by a warrior to bring justice to the people of his motherland.”
The film will feature acclaimed veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in pivotal roles. Cinematography will be handled by Sudeep Chatterjee of *Chakde India* fame, while Vishal Chandrasekhar will compose the music.
