HYDERABAD: Congress MLA Gaddam Vivek has strongly refuted any connection to the Valmiki Corporation scam in Karnataka. He has stated that he has no ties to V6 Business Solutions, the entity involved in the scandal, and has accused the BRS social media of making these links due to his ownership of a TV channel with a similar name.
Vivek challenged BRS Working President KT Rama Rao to provide evidence supporting the allegations against him. He emphasized that there is no relationship between his V6 news channel and V6 Business Solutions.
Addressing the media at the Secretariat, Vivek expressed frustration at Rama Rao and his supporters for targeting him on social media. He defended his channel, noting its role in supporting the Telangana movement and covering issues such as the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme and Mission Bhagiratha, despite opposition from then Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. Vivek also criticized KCR and Rama Rao for their attempts to ban his channel while in power and their continued attacks even after losing office.
