Hyderabad, March 7: The SSC Public Examinations in Telangana are set to begin on March 21 and will continue until April 2. The hall tickets for these exams will be released today (March 7) on the official website of the School Education Department (www.bse.telangana.gov.in).
E. Krishna Rao, Director of Government Examinations, announced that the hall tickets will also be sent to all schools across the state. If, for any reason, school managements refuse to provide hall tickets to students, they can directly download them from the official website and appear for the exams.
A total of 4.97 lakh students from 11,544 schools across Telangana will be appearing for the SSC exams this year. The government has set up 2,500 examination centers, ensuring that students will be allocated centers close to their schools to avoid any inconvenience.
Similar to previous years, the exams will be conducted for 80% of the total marks, with the remaining 20% allocated to internal assessments. However, from the 2025-26 academic year, the internal assessment system will be completely removed, and exams will be conducted for the full 100 marks.
Additionally, this year, the SSC results will be declared in marks format instead of grades, as per the latest directive issued by the Education Department.
