Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is currently occupied with the promotions of the film "Indian 2," a part of the popular franchise. Director Shankar, who is helming the project, has been actively engaging with national media during these promotional activities. Recently, Shankar provided insights into another anticipated project he had announced with Ranveer Singh.
Regarding the project, originally titled "Aparichith" in Hindi, Shankar explained that due to the emergence of several significant films in Bollywood, his producer now envisions a larger-scale production. Therefore, the project is currently put on hold until after the releases of "Indian 2" and another film titled "Gamechanger."
Shankar clarified, "Right now, it is on hold. So, after the release of these two films (Indian 2 and Gamechanger), we will decide how to take it forward."
Meanwhile, "Indian 2" is gearing up for a grand release in the upcoming week, marking a significant moment for fans eagerly awaiting the sequel.
