There used to be a king named Vikramasa. That king had seven sons. One day all the princes went fishing together for fun.
The princes caught a fish each. However, the fish were taken home and placed in the sun. One of the fish in the sun did not dry.
Then the prince asked, "Fish, why are you not dry?"
"The grass has blocked the sun," said the fish.
"Gaddiwamu Gaddiwama why did you come across the sun" asked the prince.
"The cow left me without eating," said the manger.
The prince went to the cow and asked, "Why is it not eating grass?"
The cow said that the owner did not give me grass.
The prince went to the owner and asked why the cow was not given grass. He said that my grandmother did not give me rice and that's why I didn't eat it.
When the prince asked Avva why he did not put rice, Avva said, "My grandson is crying in our house."
Grandson went to him and asked "why are you crying" and he said that the ant has hit me.
Then the prince asked, "Why did you sting, ant?" Instead, the ant said, "If you put your hand in my golden anthill, will I be stung?"

ఒకప్పుడు విక్రమసుడు అనే రాజు ఉండేవాడు. ఆ రాజుకి ఏడుగురు కొడుకులు. ఒకరోజు యువరాజులందరూ కలిసి సరదాగా చేపలు పట్టడానికి వెళ్లారు.
రాకుమారులు ఒక్కొక్కరు ఒక్కో చేపను పట్టుకున్నారు. అయితే చేపలను ఇంటికి తీసుకెళ్లి ఎండలో ఉంచారు. ఎండలో ఒక చేప ఎండలేదు.
అప్పుడు యువరాజు, "చేప, ఎందుకు పొడిగా లేదు?"
"గడ్డి సూర్యుడిని అడ్డుకుంది" అని చేప చెప్పింది.
"గడ్డివాము గడ్డివామా నువ్వు సూర్యుడిని ఎందుకు దాటావు" అని అడిగాడు యువరాజు.
"ఆవు నన్ను తినకుండా వదిలేసింది" అంది తొట్టి.
యువరాజు ఆవు దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి, "ఇది ఎందుకు గడ్డి తినదు?"
యజమాని నాకు గడ్డి ఇవ్వలేదని ఆవు చెప్పింది.
యువరాజు యజమాని వద్దకు వెళ్లి ఆవుకు గడ్డి ఎందుకు ఇవ్వలేదని అడిగాడు. మా అమ్మమ్మ అన్నం పెట్టలేదని అందుకే తినలేదని చెప్పాడు.
అన్నం ఎందుకు పెట్టలేదని యువరాజు అవ్వను అడగ్గా, “మా ఇంట్లో మనవడు ఏడుస్తున్నాడు” అంది అవ్వ.
మనవడు అతని దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి "ఎందుకు ఏడుస్తున్నావు" అని అడగ్గా చీమ కొట్టింది అన్నాడు.
అప్పుడు యువరాజు "చీమ ఎందుకు కుట్టావు?" దానికి బదులుగా చీమ "నా బంగారు పుట్టలో చేయి పెడితే కుట్టుతుందా?"
