Report Suggests 50% of Global Workforce Poised for Permanent Hybrid Work Arrangements

New Delhi, September 26: A recent report indicates that nearly half of the workforce, approximately 50%, is expected to permanently adopt a hybrid or fully mobile work approach. The report, released on Tuesday, highlights that a significant number of businesses recognize the diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) advantages associated with hybrid work.

More specifically, 69% of businesses acknowledge that hybrid working creates opportunities for employees with varying accessibility needs. Furthermore, 67% agree that hybrid work breaks down location barriers, and 63% believe it fosters a sense of connectivity among team members.

Approximately 61% state that it helps reduce feelings of marginalization among employees, while 59% agree that it contributes to narrowing gender gaps in recruitment, as per the findings.

Businesses are also seeking enhanced support from their digital technology vendors and service providers, with 76% considering reassessment of their current digital supplier relationships, the report noted.

Businesses require assistance from digital partners, processes, and technologies to navigate successful future work initiatives.”
