Rekha Gupta Declared Delhi’s New Chief Minister
The suspense over Delhi’s new Chief Minister has ended with BJP High Command announcing Rekha Gupta for the position. Rekha Gupta, who won the recent Delhi Assembly elections from the Shalimar Bagh constituency, has previously served as BJP’s state secretary. She completed her education at the prestigious Delhi University.

Parvesh Verma Appointed Deputy CM
There were rumors that Parvesh Verma, who defeated AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, was leading the race for the CM post. However, in a surprise decision, BJP appointed Rekha Gupta as the Chief Minister. During a BJP legislative meeting this evening, the decision was unanimously approved. Parvesh Verma will now serve as the Deputy CM, and Vijayendra Gupta has been appointed as the Speaker of the Assembly.

Swearing-in Ceremony Details
