Ration Card Applications Resume in Telangana – Important Update for Applicants
The ration card application process has resumed in Telangana. After discussions with MeeSeva officials, the Civil Supplies Department has reinstated the application submission option, bringing an end to the confusion of the past three days.
Application Process Resumes on MeeSeva
Following the Civil Supplies Department’s orders, the MeeSeva website reactivated the ration card application option from midnight on February 7. However, the option disappeared from the website on February 8 morning, causing confusion among applicants.
To address this, officials held another meeting to review the technical aspects of ration card issuance. Since applications had already been accepted through Praja Palana, caste census, and Prajavani programs, and the state cabinet had made a decision, officials confirmed that there were no technical issues in processing new applications. As a result, the MeeSeva centers have restarted accepting applications from yesterday evening.
Who Doesn’t Need to Apply Again?
Authorities have clarified that those who already applied through Praja Palana, caste census, or Prajavani programs do not need to reapply, as their applications are already under review.
