Minister Uttam addresses public grievances during Praja Palana program

HYDERABAD: On Friday, Irrigation & Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar participated in the “Meet the Minister” (Praja Palana) program at Gandhi Bhavan, where he addressed the grievances of over 300 attendees. People presented issues related to ration cards, housing, gas subsidies, and employment.
The minister also heard complaints from those displaced by the Mallannasagar project. He informed applicants seeking new ration cards to wait until October 2, when the government would begin accepting new applications.
Minister Uttam personally contacted senior officials to resolve urgent issues and ensured that eligible applicants received their gas subsidies on the spot.
One notable case involved a family of four short-statured individuals, who requested job assistance due to their inability to secure employment. They explained that they had been relying on their mother, who is now visually impaired. The minister assured them that help would be provided as soon as possible.
TPCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud also responded to their request, stating, "This is my struggle too, until a solution is found."
