As a continuation of the ongoing project, "Sreenidhi's Andal Tiruppavai - A Contemporary Classical Encore," this song represents another step forward in a collection of 30 thoughtfully crafted pasurams. Meaning of Māyanai Pasuram: The King of northern Mathura, radiating with divine presence, whose actions are mysterious and unfathomable, plays by the pure and deep banks of the Yamuna River. Born in the cowherd clan, he is the auspicious and radiant lamp, symbolized by the mark that illuminated his mother's womb. Known as Lord Damodara, he willingly allowed Mother Yasoda to tie him with a small rope. Let us, in our pure state, worship him with fresh flowers, offer our obeisance, sing his praises, and meditate upon him. By doing so, our past sins (committed before realizing our connection with him) and those yet to come (without our knowledge) will dissipate like cotton in a fire. Thus, let us celebrate and sing His glorious deeds.
